Shaina Amaya

 Shaina Amaya brings nearly 20 years of leadership experience in nonprofit executive search, organizational development, and philanthropic consulting from both the nonprofit and private sectors.

She currently serves as Vice President at LeaderFit, an executive search and leadership development firm focused on helping mission-driven organizations identify exceptional leaders that reflect the diverse communities they serve and promote inclusive cultures. In this role, she advises Boards and executive teams of nonprofits, foundations, and social enterprises in all aspects of organizational development strategy, including talent capital and acquisition, succession planning, and onboarding. Shaina specializes in leading national and regional CEO, Executive Director, and other senior leadership searches for the firm’s clients.

Prior to joining LeaderFit, Shaina served on the leadership team at the Endeavor Group, a boutique philanthropic consulting firm. As Vice President of Operations, she was responsible for management of the firm’s operations, finances, and human capital development. Shaina began her career at Unitus, where she worked closely with the nonprofit organization’s international microfinance partners as a key member of the marketing and communications team.

Shaina holds a Bachelor of Arts from Western Washington University in Spanish and Latin American Studies.                    

Shaina and her husband live in Stafford with their three young children, who attend Stafford County Public Schools.
